About

Lioness in AfricaAfter being introduced to Africa overland expeditions in 1998 I noticed a distinct change in the method of travel in this way in the following years.

It appeared that the golden days of expedition travel were waning, previously elusive locations became mainstream, road systems in Africa continued to improve, overland vehicles changed in appearance as well as ability and with these developments, the whole style has become more of a pre-chosen itinerary based experience instead of a journey of exploration.

African ElephantsIt was upon realising these things that I decided to branch out and attempt to restore a little of the ‘lost in the unknown Africa’ factor whilst still offering a structured and organised experience to a smaller group of people (maximum of 16 clients) as well as to myself.

For this reason the Itineraries listed are simple and realistically attainable, but still include room for personal or group preferences and decisions along the way.

By this, no two journeys or routes are planned to be the same, thus giving an individual and exclusive experience to all who travel on these expeditions, but also retaining the opportunity to visit the greatest and most favoured attractions and cultures within this ever changing and dramatic continent.
